Instructions for the media

We invite all media representatives to follow the Helsinki Impact Conference and find as-of-yet unexplored perspectives and topics.

Representatives of the media are welcome to follow the Conference at the Music Centre. Registrations and speaker interview requests are to be sent by 7 October, 12 noon to

The Conference provides extensive insight into the state of European cities as a network of urban change-makers and presents best practice examples of cohesive urban planning. Systemic change is achieved through a long-term planning vision combined with actions that can already be implemented today.

Helsinki seeks to be the most functional city in the world and a European trendsetter in sustainable urban development. These goals are manifest in multiple ways during Finland’s EU Presidency period, including efficient and sustainable event organization. Signals from Helsinki pages contain information related to the theme, and they list experts to interview and places to visit. The pages help the media to learn about the activities of Helsinki and the City’s path towards carbon-neutral Helsinki 2035.
